
Along with her skills, knowledge and passion for the grooming industry she developed the Nationally Recognised Grooming and Styling courses from the Beginner up to Advanced Grooming.
In 2004, Deborah Ryan the head of Dog Grooming Australia with Terrie Gardener, the principle of The Parramatta College, developed nationally recognised Dog Grooming Training Courses and nationally recognised grooming assessments.
This nationally recognised training and assessment is for existing groomers and new pet groomers.
Successful students receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for RUV4510A "Provide professional companion animal hydro-bathing services" and RUV4509A "Provide professional companion animal grooming services". The statement of attainment is issued by The Parramatta College a Registered Training Organisation (National Provider No. 90276).
Dog Grooming Australia training programs
Dog Grooming Australia provides teaching appropriate to your needs. You are assessed on application as to which program, assessments or workshops you require.
Dog Grooming Australia also offers Assessment only programs for the more advanced groomer.
Dog Grooming Australia provides high quality training programs with The Parramatta College NSW a Registered Training Organisation (National Provider No. 90276)
All accredited programs designed and delivered are mapped against unit of competencies from certificate IV Companion Animal Services RUV40304.

The Nationally Recognised Grooming Training and Assessments
The approved training and assessment centre provides courses and assessments for new pet groomers that want to enter the professional grooming industry and expierienced groomers that would like recognition or want to better their skill and knowlege to help complete the master groomers certificate. The courses and assessment are written against RUV4510A "Provide professional companion animal hydro-bathing services" and RUV4509A "Provide professional companion animal grooming services".All courses are from Cert IV in companion animal services RUV 40304 out of RUV04 Animal Care and Managment Training Package. The training is delivered on-site in an approved training and assessment centre. It’s hands-on, taught by skilled, experienced and qualified groomers.
New Pet Groomers

We are offering three courses to help you learn important grooming techniques and knowledge. the sylist's grooming courses include precision techniques
Course:
DGA Wash, Dry Groom Course.
DGA. Stylist Grooming Course.
The nationally recognised grooming training courses are for those people who are committed to becoming professional groomers, the trainers are very passionate in their work and we are training you to a high standard, so expect hard work and high standards.

Enrolments and Dates

2010 Course Dates: 8th March - 2rd April, 10th May - 4th June, 26th July - 20th August, 1st November - 26th November.
All course dates are subject to change.
You enrol through The Training and Assessment Centre who then forward your enrolment straight to the college. Once enrolment is completed a start date will be arranged and confirmation will be given.
