Dog Grooming Australia has been listening to groomers over the years to produce what groomers really want from a workshop.
We call the work shops the ‘round table’ because we are all equals and we can all learn from each other as equals to create a high standard of grooming in Australia.
The mentor groomers have Cert 4 in Work place training and Assessment.
Deborah from Dog Grooming Australia has City and Guilds Licentiateship Diploma in dog grooming from the London Institute and an Australian nationally recognized Statement of Attainment in grooming with over18years experience. Deborah has been teaching grooming for over 12years and has written courses and assessments for nationally recognized qualifications in Australia.

We are here to help you produce quality in salon time.
Our job as groomers and trainers is to bring out the best for what you would like to achieve.
We have all sat through demonstrations and then gone back to work to try and create what we have just seen, well with this workshop we get you to produce the work while being mentored by qualified groomers and trainers. We are not here to lecture or tell you how good we are or sell our own products. We believe that we are there for your personal grooming needs, by you bringing your own dogs and tools we can work through your needs so you produce a good standard of work in your workplace.
Groomers will get more out of workshops with a small group because you will meet other groomers, and you may find you learn from watching other groomer’s needs.
Grooming is all about keeping your client happy with a high standard of grooming within a timeframe, by networking you can learn from each other in all kind of ways and then keep in touch to help each other.
